The
fashion designs are by Erte' (the famous french designer)
made popular in the United States by his association with
Harper's Bazar Magazine. Although Russian born, he moved
to Paris to persue his design talents and soon appeared
on the covers and other illustrations of the popular Harper's
Bazar magazine in the 1920's. The flowing lines of the Art
Nouveau period are evident in his drawings.
These embroidery designs are available for the 5x7, 6x10
and the 8x8 frames. Each of the 7 women are included in
the set as single designs as well as grouped together
in the illustrations. The gold panels behind the two women
are an applique'
