The
fashion designs are by Erte' (the famous french designer)
made popular in the United States by his association with
Harper's Bazar Magazine. Although Russian born, he moved
to Paris to persue his design talents and soon appeared
on the covers and other illustrations of the popular Harper's
Bazar magazine in the 1920's. The flowing lines of the Art
Nouveau period are evident in his drawings.
